Our trip to second harvest heartland. We went to second harvest heartland during school to pack meals for people who don't have any. when we got there we went in and put our extra stuff in cubbies. Like jewelry, watches, phones etc. Then we sat in the lobby and listened to one of the workers talk about what we were going to be doing. They told us all of the procedures and rules before we went in to pack. The things we packed were apples and crackers. There were also other stations that made boxes, and put the boxes of food onto the conveyor belts as well. They next had us raise our hands to pick the jobs we wanted to do. They then split us up into those groups and told us what we were going to be packing. Lastly they went over some more rules which consisted of what we should or shouldn't be wearing. For example we had to have close toed shoes, no baggy clothing, and most girls put their hair up including me, just so it wasn't in the way. After they were done talking we hea...

I am going to write about a time I felt confusion when I got a concussion in a basketball game. So this was during basketball season. I went home after school before our game because it was at home and on home games I go home after school and get ready. I had just had a long day and it was nice to relax and be on my own time. When it got closer to the game we started driving to MCA. we get there and I go into the locker room with my team. We talk before the game and then we start to warm up. the first game was the JV game and I think I ended up playing one half of JV and two halves of varsity that night. But after the Jv game ended and we got the win, it was time for the varsity game. the varsity game starts and I have just played a really good half of JV so I feel really good. at the moment I had been playing really well and I was confident in myself because of my performance. but the varsity game starts and I get into the game. right into the game I score a couple threes and i'm ...

things I can't live without. obviously I can't live without food and water and oxygen but I am talking more about what things in my personal life I can't live without. so the first thing would be my dogs. I can't think of anything that makes me happier after school and walking though the door to get greeted but them everyday makes me the happiest. another thing I can't live without is basketball. or a sport in general. if I don't do a sport or play basketball once a week I feel so bored and I guess I need something to do. and another thing I can't live without is coffee because I feel like coffee is coffee and I don't have to explain anything.

       one of the best vacations I have been on. I have been to Gatlinburg Tennessee for my teams national basketball tournament, and it was interesting. first of all our team did not do good. we Im pretty sure got last place but last place was 10th place so it was still a good accomplishment. but the best part of that trip was where we were staying. when we first got there we drove for like 2 hours tot he town we were staying in. when we got to the town we went through a whole bunch of different shops and it was really cool. we then were able to check into where we were staying which was a cabin. when we got to our so called cabin, all we saw was a driveway that was pointed up to the sky. we couldn't even see our cabin, all we saw was the driveway our rental car had to go up. so on our first try getting up the driveway, we just went for it, no running start just went for it, and what do you know we failed. the car started raving its engine and then started rolling b...

  three things I would do if I wasn't so afraid. the first thing would be skydiving. my mom and my brother   always talk about going but   I  hate heights and  I   don't  know how  I  feel jumping out of a plane with someone on my back going probably like 200 mph.  I  also dont like roller coasters.  I  go on some roller coasters,  I'm  not scared  I  just  don't  like them.  every time   I  go on one my head starts throbbing  and   I  feel like  I'm   getting  stabbed in the stomach. so  every time   I  go to like valley fair  I  just sit  and  wait because  I  hate going on  roller  coasters. then after that little add on, the second thing would be talking to more people. right now  I  hate when  I  have to specifically do speeches in class or ...

 the color I feel like today. the color I feel like today is a mixture of grey and yellow. yellow because I am happy to be at school not for school but to see my friends and because I had a good morning also because I get a free period today in math class and I don't have any math homework so I am happy to have that. also I had a free period yesterday and I got a lot of homework done so that I didn't have to work on homework for a long time after school as well. and then grey because I am really tired this morning because I woke up at like 5:30 and I want to be at school but I also don't want to be at school at the same time and its also just tiring being here. my head also hurts which just makes everything worse so yea. 

For this blog I will be writing about my favorite seasons. My favorite season is probably fall because I love the cool weather and its like perfect, a bit warm and windy, which makes it perfect to start putting on comfy sweatshirts and jackets. I also love the color the leaves change, and how they fall and make all the streets look so warm with their colors and the bare trees just give everything such a calm vibe. I feel like it's hard to be mad or sad during fall because it's such a relaxing season. And then there is also halloween where everyone is trick or treating and its just such fun night. I also love how the apple orchards are open and I love going on hay rides with my family and getting pumpkins to carve is so much fun as well. even for halloween and fall in general we dress up our dogs in their costumes on halloween and for fall just in general we put them in a little sweater that they wear and its super cute.   September 5, 2023 For this journal entry I am going to write about my trip to Florida last spring break. So last year was my first year here at Maranatha. I did not really know anybody coming into this school and I was really nervous. Towards the middle of the year I started to meet some new people and I am friends with most of them now. But because i was new to this school and because of how far i came from the beginning of the year to spring break my family wanted to give my brother and i a little gift in a way. So they surprised us with a trip to Clearwater Florida. 2 years before this we had gone to the same place and the same hotel which was also a super nice resort around easter time. So the first time we went we spent Easter there which was probably the best Easter I had ever had, so far.
